The cloverleaf-shaped building of the new district office sets a modern and invigorating accent in Erlangen. This project required not only smooth project management for the interior work, but also a certain amount of engineering and technical know-how in implementation.
The unusual architecture of the new building captivates by its simplicity and is modern and timeless. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the more than 4,000 sqm lamella ceiling, which adapts to the curved shape of the building – a top performance in terms of craftsmanship.

To make the usage of the space as flexible as possible and deliver a visually attractive architectural solution, the hall structure is supported by only three pillars and completely self-supporting across an area of 66 x 46 m. A lot has happened in a very short amount of time since construction on the expansion of the baierl + demmelhuber premises began in May 2014. After the decision in favor of the largest investment in the company's history had been made, the enterprise broke important ground for the growth and thus the future of baierl + demmelhuber.
The official grand opening celebration was held on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Dr. Martin Huber, MP; District Councilor Erwin Schneider and Töging's Executive Mayor, Dr. Tobias Windthorst, were on hand to deliver the keynotes.
